Hopewell Plaza
1990, 85’ x 45’ x 15’, Hopewell, Virginia. Concrete,brick and steel. Hopewell Plaza is a proposal for a site-specific plaza for the city of Hopewell, Virginia. This plaza was meant to be a site for a variety of city events. The Y shaped fountain was inspired by the confluence of the Appomattox and James Rivers that occurs in this area.
